Our Mission: to design &
create art with love for Planet Earth!
At Atelier Ingeborg Steenhorst we want to inspire the world to push back fast fashion, and to embrace a sustainable and more personal attitude. We support the slow fashion movement by only offering one-of-a-kind items, made to order designs and limited collections. We care deeply for our planet Earth therefore we incorporate sustainable design techniques like up cycling, multi-functional and transformational designs and traditional crafts preservation next to traditional tailoring. By utilizing materials already made we try to give our share in reducing the industry's carbon footprint and lower environmental pollution.

For our AIS ART-Print collection we make use of the Eco-friendly EarthPositive® garment brand from Continental Clothing Co. These garments made from 100% natural fibers like Organic Cotton, Bamboo and Lyocell TENCEL® have a flattering drape, are soft, luxurious, breathable, are naturally wrinkle-resistant and environmentally sustainable. All our AIS ART Print designs are custom-made to prevent unnecessary stock. This custom-made principle also means that you can choose your preferred colours for both T-shirt fabric and the silk screen ART print. From each sold AIS ART print item we donate 5% to Greenpeace. This way we together with you our customer, contribute to environmental protection and stimulate the development of 'Slow Fashion'.
