WATERDRAGEN
May 16th 2025, Ingeborg released her first official photo book edition entitled 'WATERDRAGEN'. The book, which she has been working on for two years, has become a 130 pages work full of beautiful art portraits, landscape and nature photography combined with self written poetry. The book tells the story of 'Huis ter Heide', a Dutch nature reserve that has become very dear to the artist. It is a place where water plays an extremely important role in the existing ecosystem. With its beautiful fens, Huis ter Heide inspired me to create a narrative photo series in which water is adored. The book opens with a heart warming introduction written by water expert Maarten Veldhuis / Maartens waterwereld.

About
Ingeborg Steenhorst is a Belgian-Dutch artist, photographer and fashion designer.
Ingeborg aims to strengthen our connection with nature by including the beauty and diversity of Dutch landscape in her photo art. She creates autonomous fine art photography in which experiencing nature and storytelling take on a prominent role. With her art she trives to inspire us to a deeper appreciation for the natural world.
Ingeborg combines analog and digital photography with mixed media thechniques and unique self-made costumes and accessories. As a lover of nature, she has a strong urge to create sustainably and often uses vintage fabrics, clothing components and old jewelry...
